Beecake played at the Apple Store in Glasgow today. Looks like Billy's family was there as well.

Yay! The Beecake website - www.beecake.com - is back up, and it's better than ever. There's a blog, photo gallery, music player, video gallery and gig guide (currently blank but we'll keep on hoping). And yes, you can order the CD! Cost is GBP15.00 which includes postage and handling.

Beecake has uploaded a new video to their MySpace site - a behind-the-scenes look at their time in the recording studio while laying down the album "Soul Swimming".

Beecake now has a Facebook page. They have transferred over a lot of stuff from their MySpace page, and are gathering friends by the hour.

There's a really great new interview with Billy on Youtube and this part also has a glimpse in rehearsal with Beecake.

I got these at 2007 ORC - the signatures are on the back of my Wizard Circle pass, in fact! I'd love to pass these on to someone who would want them. Someone who maybe doesn't already have, or otherwise wouldn't be able to get autographs from the band.

Also, I have a Beecake guitar pick. thuri totally stole liberated this from Billy's (or was it Rick's?) microphone stand after the ORC concert.

Beecake has added a new album version of "Boy" to their myspace player - and I am honestly so impressed with it. I mean, the old version was among my favourites by them, but this just... Billy's voice has SO much emotion.

I just wish they would publish the album already. Or at least give us a date when it comes out! :D

Does anyone have a clean copy of Boy uploaded anywhere that I could be linked to?

The band has put a new song up on their Myspace page, it's called "Broken Songs". There is also a new blog entry telling us that it is a "sneaky peek" from their forthcoming album.
